Message from the Chief Executive
Marriage Link Consult (M-Link) has been set up to promote and sustain marriages. We achieve this through the various packages we have on offer. Our vision is a society where every home has peace and love and conflicts in families are reduced to the barest minimum. We aim to ensure that marriage does not become a preserve of the rich, but made affordable and accessible by all who meet the minimum requirements for marriage.
The setting up of Marriage Link Consult was inspired by the need to help to address the pandemic of divorce that has plagued our society. The explosion of social media on the relationship stage, as positive as it is, also has some negative consequences. These days it is no longer fashionable to trust the person who chats you from the other side because they may well turn out to be different personalities in real life. There is the need to turn this negative situation to a positive one by tapping into the safety features that social media companies provide to address challenges associated with marriage.
In modern Ghanaian and other African societies, women have been positioned to be passive actors in the marriage process, because they often have to wait for a man to show up to propose to them. If they are not lucky to have good men show up, there are left with limited options. There is need for an empowerment tool that enables women to define their persona and put forward what prospective suitors should possess – the qualities and values that will make them happy. Thus the Marriage Link concept is to empower women to put a foot forward and dictate who gets to marry them. This is achieved through our Partner Identification and matching package.
We also recognize that marriage that is founded on shaky or inadequately prepared grounds cannot last for long. For this reason, our Team of Counsellors are ever ready to assist to prepare prospective marriage couples on legal and social issues they need to be aware of, as the proceed to go to the alter the recite the marriage vows.
For those who are already in marriage relationships, our Juice-up package helps to infuse a spark in relationships that are going stale. Our company in that regard also organizes programs for couples to spice up their relationships.
Marriage issues are complex and unpredictable. We therefore count on the cooperation of our patrons and clients to help achieve the vision we have set for ourselves.
